President Obama Signs SCHIP Legislation

On February 4th, 2009, President Obama signed legislation reauthorizing and expanding the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).  The bill approved by Congress will expand health insurance coverage to four million uninsured children whose parents earn too much to qualify for Medicaid but who cannot afford private insurance.
