Prior to President Obama's bipartisan health care reform meeting, National Patient Advocate Foundation delivered constituent cases to White House summit participants to urge the elimination of pre-existing conditions, annual/lifetime limits and capping out-of-pocket expenses. 

On February 1st, President Obama released his budget for fiscal year 2011.  The $3.8 trillion budget seeks to freeze most domestic spending but provides small increases for some health-related items and agencies.

On January 27th, President Barack Obama delivered the State of the Union Address to Congress and the American people.  The President reaffirmed the need for health insurance reform in order to relieve the burden on middle-class families.
