Cover the Uninsured Week - April 27th to May 3rd

The sixth annual Cover the Uninsured Week is underway! Organized by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the project is a national effort to highlight the forty-seven million Americans, including more than 9 million children, that are uninsured.

Individuals living without health insurance are often sicker and die younger compared to insured individuals.  In addition, one serious illness or injury can financially ruin a family.  Nobody should have to take these kinds of risks.  NPAF urges advocates to help raise awareness of this growing problem and to demand solutions from elected officials.  Community events will be occurring throughout the week so visit the site below for more information and to get involved in Cover the Uninsured Week.
