President Obama announced on September 30th that billions of dollars from the Recovery Act will go towards medical research and science-based jobs. In an announcement at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the President stressed that the $5 billion investment in medical research is the largest ever and will not only support tens of thousands of jobs, but will also advance America's science and technology infrastructure. |
