Senate Health Bill Will Not Substantially Change Premiums

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released an analysis on November 30th of the Senate health care reform bill which found that as currently drafted, the legislation could significantly reduce costs for many people that purchase non-group health insurance coverage.

In addition, the CBO report found that the Senate bill will not dramatically increase premiums for the vast majority of Americans and will likely decrease premiums for Americans that have coverage through a small or large group.
