Skilled Communications Workshops

Skilled communications are at the heart of co-creating health for both patients and their health care team. We are working closely with community groups to offer a series of Skilled Communications Workshops for the populations they serve.

We develop these workshops in partnership with groups that have deep roots in their community. We talk about the importance of telling your story–both at the individual and collective level. We highlight issues specific to those communities and programs that are working to address these challenges and advance person=centered care.

The workshops provide an opportunity for participants to learn valuable skills while engaging in open, interactive discussions about what matters to them. The workshops are one component of our commitment to making the Roadmap model of shared decision making a reality.
