Western States Field Director
Sheila Stickel specializes in building momentum and alliances for issues, companies and campaigns, and has worked with a wide variety of public affairs and public relations clients in the Pacific Northwest. As the Field Director for the Western States, Sheila uses more than twenty years of successful community relations experience to develop new initiatives, build coalitions and effectively mobilize for NPAF.
Her ability to motivate action from grassroots networks is a hallmark of Sheila’s approach. Her experience working with local elected officials, issues, promoting events and generating support for issues make her among the top in her field.
Sheila’s expertise have been called upon for everything from professional sports to a multitude of issue political and candidate campaigns, including schools, health care, energy, transportation, telecommunications and trade.
A Northwest native, Sheila lives in Seattle, but grew up in Boise, Idaho. She attended the University of Oregon — where she was the student body president in 1991 — and where she now serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. When she’s not working with NPAF volunteers, you can find Sheila driving her son to sports practice and leading her daughter’s Girls Scout troop.
