November 17, 2020
12:00 pm – 3:30 pm
As Covid-19 takes its toll on people everywhere, addressing rural health assumes even greater importance. Our goal is to elevate the voices of patients, caregivers and providers, not just to understand the challenges they face but also to learn about the programs they‘ve created to address these disparities and the ideas they have for improving the care in their communities. At our Fall 2020 Policy Consortium, we will focus on the key issues that influence rural communities.
- Who are some change -makers in rural communities across the country?
- What are some unique barriers to accessing equitable health care in rural areas?
- How has telehealth impacted access to care?
- What are some solutions people are implementing in rural areas to increase the quality of care?
