NPAF Policy Consortium

Patients as Partners

Bridging the gap between policy and lived experiences.

About Policy Consortium

NPAF’s Policy Consortium pulls together in one place the lived experiences and perspectives of patients, caregivers and partners in under-resourced communities that are often under-represented in healthcare research and reform discussions.

This quarterly forum features dynamic dialogue that invites our audience to explore together the impact and implications of serious illnesses and health policies on peoples’ lives.

When and where is NPAF Policy Consortium?

NPAF Policy Consortium happens four times a year in March, June, September, and November. These are held virtually.

Who can be a part of NPAF Policy Consortium?

Any individual or partner organization can participate. We welcome patients, caregivers, patient advocates and navigators, social workers, community health workers, health professionals, health journalists, policymakers, and others.

What are the outcomes of NPAF Policy Consortium?

We use the discussion to guide resource development, grassroots campaigns, research projects and policy reform.
